Agronomy is an integrated and holistic approach to agriculture . It defines crop management in terms of the properties of the soil, the nutrients the crop requires,the ways that the the crop grows and the climatic influence. It also covers the methods to control pests and realize effective crop yields with proper utilization of resources, while conserving and protecting the environment
