Blockchain is a digitally distributed,decentralized, shared, immutable ledger that facilitates recording of transactions and tracking assets in a network. Every transaction is authenticated by a digital signature which prevents tampering and assures security of the transaction. The transactions are done with mutual consensus resulting in faster and safer transactions.
