In collaboration with the Sri Amaranarayana FPO in Chintamani, Karnataka, C-SAFE set out to improve outcomes for tomato farmers, many of whom were struggling with inconsistent yields, input inefficiencies, and limited access to markets.
To bridge the gap between traditional farming and modern agricultural excellence, C-SAFE partnered with TraceX to implement the Package of Practices (POP) feature—a solution designed to standardize tomato cultivation, reduce variability, and ensure farmers followed data-driven, sustainable practices from land preparation to harvest.
What followed was a transformation not just in yields, but in farmer confidence, traceability, and market readiness.
C-SAFE (Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Agriculture & Farm Excellence) was launched to celebrate the 150 years of Tata Group.
